The Poundshop has opened a special shop at Somerset House 10-13th December 2015. The Garage Sale is a new pop-up event where designers are able to sell stock from past seasons, prototypes, work in progress and samples. The Garage Sale brings these products from over 50 designers into one specially curated space designed by Bat Studio. Natsko's past prints were available there to buy!
Natsko's postcards were up on the wall together with Sir Peter Blake, Gilbert&George, Chapman Brothers etc at the Art On A Postcard, Soho Revue, 14 Greek Street, London. It was a secret auction raising money for The Hepatitis C Trust. Thank you for those who came to see the show, and bid. The Auction is now over and raised £51,715 altogether.
Visitors to Dulwich Picture Gallery had the exciting opportunity to appear in a brand new illustration of the Gallery by Natsko Seki in August 2015. In her playful trademark style, Natsko will re-imagine the Gallery in a collage of drawings and photographs, bursting with colour. The illustration will inspire a new range of merchandise for the Gallery's acclaimed gift shop. What's more, the illustration will also include photographs of real-life visitors to the Gallery! In the final work visitors will mingle with and even pose as well-known subjects from the gallery's permanent collection, bringing the Gallery's painting to life. We will update you with more information soon.
Natsko has illustrated a series of life-size figures of characters related to the history of Tower of London such as The Constable, Thomas Moore, The Queen Elizabeth I, Samuel Pepys, Guy Fawkes etc. When you visit Tower of London, you will see them near the entrance on the construction hoardings.
